Arrival at Thiruvananthapuram airport OR central railway station. Our driver will meet you and proceed to your hotel. On arrival at check-in at your hotel. If time permits then proceed for Thiruvananthapuram sightseeing or else day at your leisure. Overnight stay at Thiruvananthapuram hotel.

Thiruvananthapuram places of visit: Veli Lake & Tourist Village (8 AM to 6 PM), Shangumugham Beach, Padmanabha Swamy Temple (Non-Hindus not allowed inside the temple), Puthenmalika (Kuthiramalika) Palace (9 AM to 12:45 PM & 3 PM to 4:45 PM / Monday closed), Sri Chitra Art Gallery (10 AM to 5 PM / Monday closed), Thiruvananthapuram Zoo (6:30 AM to 5:15 PM / Monday closed), Napier Museum (10 AM to 5 PM except Wed 1 PM to 4:45 PM / Monday closed), Kanakanunnu Palace (6 AM to 9 PM), Astronomical Observatory (6:30 AM to 8 PM / Sat & Sun closed).

About Poovar: Poovar was a trading centre of timber, sandalwood, ivory and spices. In around 1000 BCE. This village is almost at the southern tip of Thiruvananthapuram while the next village, Pozhiyoor marks the end of Kerala. Poovar has an estuary that connects with the sea during high tides. The 56 km Neyyar River passes through Neyyattinkara taluk into the Arabian Sea near Poovar.

Poovar places of visit: The Fishing Village (The people of this village make their living solely by fishing in traditional old ways), Padmanabhapuram Palace (9 AM to 4:30 PM / closed on Monday).
